NEW YORK CITY - December 1, 2010: FDNY fireboat goes under Manhattan Bridge.
The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY), provides services to the five boroughs of New York City.It developed a Marine Operations Strategy to meet the growing challenges and vulnerabilities in the Port of New York and New Jersey for firefighting, water rescue, medical evacuation and treatment, hazardous material mitigation and decontamination and control equipment for complex maritime events.
