USS Marblehead (CL-12) was an Omaha-class light cruiser, originally classified as a scout cruiser, of the United States Navy. She was the third Navy ship named for the town of Marblehead, Massachusetts.
USS Marblehead was in dry dock #2, Boston Navy Yard, June 1932. The carpenter shop is visible to the left and the Bunker Hill Monument (obelisk) is behind the Star Spangled Banner. (Caption updated by Curtis Tammany)
